I got my blu ecig about a month ago and I absolutely love it. I have been a chain smoker for years and due to health reasons, I need to stop smoking. The ecig is definitely helping me control my nicotine addiction. I have only smoked maybe 3 regular cigarettes since I got my ecig. I don’t get that great of a hit off the menthol cartridge, but the java jolt is amazing! I’d definitely recommend the blu ecigs for anyone who wants to switch from regular cigs.

I had green smoke in the past which was actually a extremely good electronic cigarette but the cartridges were just a bit more then I was willing to pay so i switched to BLU electronic cigarette and am incredibly satisfied. I must be the odd one out cause my Blu eCig is absolute garbage. I got the kit last week. Sure the price is great for what you get but OMG,how can anyone say (and be honest), that their flavors are good? Everything from the tobacco to the coffee to the menthol was horrible, abolutely horrible. Bad initial taste, bad aftertaste, instant headache. And as for vapor? I can take my BLU (which is getting send back ASAP for a refund monday) and the initial hit is good as far as vapor and throat hit (of course this is really trying to ignore the wretched taste of their cartridges) but then if I go back not even 1-2 minutes later for another hit theres hardly any vapor and no throat hit. I have to let the junk thing sit for like 5 minutes or so and then take another hit and its ok. Yes the battery is fully charged, yet the nasty tasting cartridge is full. If I want a hit in the meantime I have to work and work to try and get vapor out of it. Theres no fun in constantly having to work at /how/ you take a pull off of a cig for it to be anything enjoyable in the slightest. This review smacks of being paid for and not an honest opinion. Their only thing going is how cheap the kit is… I will stay with eCigs but not this one. I have a Joye510 on the way and this pathetic excuse for an eCig is heading back next week.
@ NIKKI—-Sorry you had a bad experience with the BLU electronic cigarette. I have tried them personally and liked them very much and i bet i know what the issue is with yours. See atomizers are dosed in primer to prevent them from going bad and getting stuff in them until they get to you the consumer. Most of the time there is only a little bit and burns off on the first or second puff. At rare times though the electronic cigarette atomizer may have collected to much primer on it and when you vape it you will have a horrible taste in your mouth. The way to remedy this and to make it taste good again is to burn off the primer without a cartridge on it. Of course this can be difficult to do with the automatic batteries so your going to want to use a manual electronic cigarette battery. This will burn off the primer and when you see the burners on the atomizer lighting up and don’t have and smoke coming off them anymore take a fresh cartridge and let it sit on it for a few minutes then take a few hits. You will see that the taste is much different. The Joye510 actually tend to have this problem the most with new atomizers. Although, don’t misunderstand me i love the Joye 510 from Totally wicked electronic cigarette and from Ecigbestsave. As far as your comment on this is a review to get paid lets look at it this way. Over HALF of the electronic cigarettes on this site I do not recommend to people. BLU electronic cigarette actually gives me one of the lowest percentage payouts on this site. I highly recommend them from personal experience and in no way tell people false info on this site. Please take a moment to read the rest of the site before making accusations about stuff you apparently didn’t research. With any product you will find people who like it and those that do not. I hope your experience with the JOYE 510 is a better one. Thanks again for giving us your opinions and good luck.
Hi, Thanks for replying to me! I had considered it was the primer on the attys for my Blu but I have been using it every day to some extent or another and the taste really hasnt gotten that much better as time as gone on. One day I used it exclusively — no analogs in between. So I have put it through its paces. Dunno maybe I got a bad one? I posted on a large eCig forum and it was suggested that I get some Volcano eCig attys and carts and try that. Seems others have had similar probs with their Blus and when they went over to Volcano (BLU and Volcano are the same company and cig model for the most part too oddly enough) attys and carts the Blus worked better for them. What attracted me to the Blu was everything you got for the money and it was an Automatic battery. But the problems I seem to be having getting vapor out of this has made me go for a manual (Joye510). And thanks for the suggestion on getting the primer off the atty. I have honestly taken a few hits without a cart in it (just experimenting) but perhaps I need to do that some more. I will do that now. Ive been back on analogs since yesterday for the most part but really dont want to use them. And as for my comment that part of your review was paid; that was honestly the first thing that came to mind when I read your comments on the flavor/taste of the blu carts. I personally hate them (and I have read comments from other people who dont like them either). It would be nice if Blu had the option of having just straight tobacco carts in their kits instead of a sampler set of carts (though I dont even like their tobacco flavored carts but they are the least bad tasting in the lot). This chocolate is just horrible (which is what Im using now.. got no choice, my analog cig money went for this blu so I have to use the carts I have right now so Im just using random carts at this point. It all tastes the same amount of horrible to me so it doesnt matter hehe). But yes, not everyone is going to like everything so I do apologize for that remark. I still have some time in the warranty on this Blu, and Im sure different carts might help the taste but I dont know what to do regarding the lack of consistent vapor with it.
