We were not going to write a Volcano electronic cigarette review (e-cig review) at first because there were many rumors that they were the same company as the Blu Electronic Cigarettes. We have yet to find any concrete proof that the Volcano electronic cigarette is in fact made by the same corporation but the mass majority of rumors indicate that it is may be. The reason we revisited this company was because they are getting major reviews as to how great their electronic cigarette is.

 

 

Volcano Electronic Cigarette Review

The Volcano electronic cigarette actually comes in three different models. They carry three different e-cig models; the Volcano electronic cigarette, the MAGMA electronic cigarette, and also the NEW Inferno electronic cigarette. The Volcano electronic cigarette operates with 3 part design to them. We felt the vapor production of the standard Volcano electronic cigarette to be a bit better than some of the other brands out there and were quite pleased with it.

The MAGMA electronic cigarette was absolutely incredible and is our recommendation if you decide to go with Volcano as your brand of electronic cigarettes. The MAGMA electronic cigarette (e-cig) had amazing vapor production and throat hit. We found it to be as good as some of the electronic cigarettes that you buy only the cartridges and highly recommend choosing this model even though it is a little bit more expensive then the standard Volcano electronic cigarette model they carry it will be much cheaper in the long run since you can use the nicotine e-liquid that is sold on the website to fill your own cartridges which is turn saves a TON of money. The electronic cigarette nicotine e-liquid comes in a large variety of flavors including; Cherry Lava, Waikiki Watermelon, Vanillia Bean, Pineapple Punch, Bluewater Punch, CooCoo Coconut, Kona Coffee, Milk Chocolate, Tobacco, and Menthol. Our favorite was the Milk Chocolate which was pretty darn tasty almost like a tootsie roll.

Volcano Electronic Cigarette reviewThe New Inferno electronic cigarette was recently released since the original review was posted. The Inferno e-cig features a AWESOME battery that will pretty much outlive the magma batteries by triple the amount. The Inferno electronic cigarette comes in 3 different colors; chrome, black, and red. These e-cigs are for those people that do not want to carry around the charger kit and want to be able to just whip out the e-cig and use it. I personally find myself constantly using this battery because it really does outlive the competitors. Just make sure you have a small bottle of fluid on you if you want to be able to top off your cartridge for a better hit.

  1. The owner helped Pete out and provided him with a sincere apology and even made it up to him with a few extras forget what they were though. Since then Pete has been active on the volcano electronic cigarette comments and helps out in order to give back to me for helping him out and also volcano ecigs who showed that they have good character and stand behind their customers to ensure they are satisfied.

  2. I am disappointed in all of the negativity I have seen on here! I have been smoke free since November 13, 2012 and it is all thanks to Volcano, and their Volcano Inferno! Like every other company out there, there have been a few problems here and there, but Volcano has stood by their products 100%. I had a problem with my batteries and/or charger, wasn’t sure which it was … the light would not stay on and wouldn’t charge unless I wiggled it a certain way. I contacted the company and they IMMEDIATELY sent me 2 new batteries as well as a new cord. I received them in 2 days. It turned out to be the cord. I am trying some new products of theirs (branching out from the original Inferno kit now) and I am comfortable doing this because I know that Volcano has been good to me and I’m sure they will continue to do so! My favorite flavors are the RY-4 and the Tobacco Pure. I recommend the company to each and every person I deal with that wants to quit smoking. At the age of 45, and having been a smoker for ALL of my adult life, I just didn’t think I had it in me to quit. Now, I have THREE MONTHS without “real” cigarettes and don’t plan on ever looking back!

    Save yourself frustration, shop elsewhere! We ordered two Inferno ecig kits a month ago, spent 170+ dollars. At least one cartomizer in each kit was defective, one usb charger did not work at all, and one battery will not hold a charge. Being new to ecigs we didn’t realize this until it was too late to exchange them. Two weeks ago we spent another 70 dollars for more eliquid. They only sent one bottle of the two large bottles I ordered (20+dollars). I contacted them immediately and they said “send us a picture of the packing slip”. Why I do not know, but I did this. They said they didn’t get it. I sent it again. Again, they said they didn’t get it. Sent it a third time to “James” in customer service. He confirmed receipt of the image of their packing slip, but refuses to commit as to whether or not they are planning to make good on their error. Every response I get from them is flippant and condescending. So – I have no choice but to contact my credit card company and file a dispute of the charges.

    I have also found out since then, through research and inquiries, that the flavorings they use in their own eliquids are part of what destroys the cartomizers; they use heavy oil based flavorings that clog the device, and after a few uses they can’t be cleaned well enough to reuse – so you have to buy more. Nice scam to ensure you have to keep ordering parts.

    I’m done with them at this point. NOTHING is worth this much grief. Take your business to a company that deserves it.

    I initially ordered this product because there was a non-nicotine option and I have never smoked cigarettes, nor have I ever desired to. All I wanted was a fun toy.

    However, after paying a bunch for their 2-day Fed Ex shipping and purchasing both a Volcano starter kit (which only comes with nicotine-laced cartomizers) and a vanilla-flavored non-nicotine pack of cartomizers, my package arrived in the mail, which I was excited to try. Lo and behold, the Volcano battery was out of juice.

    When I tried to charge it, the charger LED stayed red for 24 hours, and the LED on the Volcano itself never turned off. I figured maybe the LEDs were messed up so I tried using the e-cig despite this. Nothing doing – the battery still had no charge. :/

    I contacted customer support and waited a couple of days before they responded. This guy Shadow Rhelm, their customer service troll, told me that they could give me a USPS regular air mail slip to send the battery and charger back to them so they could run extensive tests on them.

    I mailed the parts back to them and after about a week they told me they had received my e-cig and were going to run some tests. A few days later they told me they’d be shipping my package back. Finally about two weeks from the time I sent mine in I received my e-cig (the same one I had sent in – the company didn’t even have the decency to send me a replacement…).

    I tested the e-cig and the same situation!!! What extensive tests could they have run?!?! They sent me the original Volcano and a new charger, and still nothing worked!!

    At this point, I asked for a refund of my 2-day shipping fee and they told me they couldn’t do that. I said that I wanted to return the whole device and they said no, but they could give me a few “reward points” to spend even more money with them. Give me a break assholes!

    These people honestly don’t care about their customers or potential customers – just shovel that money into their pockets and enjoy that Hawaiian living… Well, peace out and aloha. They stole over $40 from me… hopefully someone else will read this and save their money.

    I have no incentive to be here other than complete disappointment. :( Wishing you all the best, review readers.

    • Note, I also asked them specifically to send me another battery (NOT the one I sent them) but they refused until they confirmed that the battery they had originally given me was broken, this guy Shadow Rhelm said.

      What kind of BS is that? Even computer companies give out temporary replacements… this company won’t even take another battery off its shelves in exchange for one that may or may not be working? Why is that? So the customer is the only one who can be screwed over here?!

    So far, so good. I tried a disposable before purchasing the Magna Deluxe Kit from a Volcano Coffee shop. The disposable did not feel like a cigarette. It felt like a a double AA battery. Metallic and heavy. The Magna feels lighter however is still metallic. The disposable was activated by breathing or sucking on the device. The Magna is activated by a button (I guess to conserve the battery?).

    I have a suggestion to all E-Cigarette makers to improve their product.

    1. Make the device as light as possible.
    2. The tip or mouthpiece should either be rubber or a tough ABS type plastic that is contoured like a pipe or cigarette holder tip so no metallic taste.
    3. The liquid reserve should last as long as a disposable E-Cigarette.
    4. Eliminate the light at the end of the tip to conceal it’s use. A small LED can be used to indicate when to recharge but the tip light is something to hide when the Anti Smoking Nazi are about. They hate E-Cigarettes as badly as regular cigarettes and want to ban them the same way as regular cigarettes.
    5. Activation should be by sucking on the cigarette like most disposable E-Cigs.

    Otherwise… Not a bad alternative to standard cigarettes.

    I just got my volcano electronic cigarette kit today, and I love it best think that has ever come out with. and the different flavors are great. Even though I just started this morning I have not wanted a regular cigarette.     I dont know what Dennis is talking about, I have always gotten anyhting I received that did work replaced. You have to read their terms just like anything else you buy in life. They do exchange but you ahve to understand that after some times atomizers and batteries go out. They are consumable products and are not supposed to last forever esspecially the atomizers. Those can go out after only a few weeks. This doesnt make them defective and its the same for any company not just volcano electronic cigarettes. You should provide more details dennis cause it really sounds like your just a customer who doesnt follow directions and expects others to pay for it but I could be wrong.

    Volcano ecigs are total crap and customer service is horrific. I have had several defective items and they refuse to let me return them saying they have a no refund policy. I got news for them. if it is defective they MUST refund and my credit card company will take care of this since volcano wont. You can’t sell defective products and then say no refunds.

    This policy of absolutely no refunds is ridiculous. They could be passing off known defective products and then making the customer eat it. This is total BS and I won’t let them get away with this.

    Since volcano has no clue as to how to handle customer service properly and is a RIP OFF IMO I have moved on to better vaping products, And I am getting my money back through my credit card company.

    I would suggest staying away from volcano ecigs or you will be sorry.

    I always wondered why volcanos site loaded so slow. I found out is is because they have an unlimited hosting plan at bluehost at $4.95 LMAO Too Funny. You would think they could afford a better service or even their own server

    • In reply to Dennis’ comment- I don’t know about straight refunds, but they will exchange products that are defective. The batteries usually have a 1 year warranty, which I think is AWESOME.

      The tankomizers can’t be warrantied because you could have broken it yourself, but they do have I believe a 48 hour DOA return policy- so if you get it and it doesn’t work, they will take it back and send you a working one. However I had issues with a few within weeks of ordering them and CS was very helpful in working with me to troubleshoot my problem.

      I also had a charger that didn’t work that I didn’t try for a few weeks after receiving it, so it was maybe a month before I realized it had to be returned- they took it back and switched it out for me upon testing it and seeing it was defective.

      I have had to interact with CS there about 3-4 times and they have always been extremely helpful.

      IMO don’t ever judge a company on just one lousy CS experience- any company can have a lousy rep or one who’s having a bad day. Keep trying and most of the time you find someone helpful who will get things straightened out for you :)

    yes i have been using volcano e cigs for about 7 months. i will also say they are the only company i have ever bought from but they are great. CS is great. the price for everything is pretty well priced. the vapor from the magma blank tanks is GREAT. they also offer 16mg 8mg and 0mg of nicotine. so its a great way to stop somking. and if you want to slowly quit all together with e cigs and cigs. i would say go with this company! the only problem i have with them is the fact that if something is broke from them. it will take up to 2 weeks to have them test and find out whts wrong with it. and i have had 3 attys they did not work right off the bat. and i have had 2 batts not work very well. but overall they are my favirote company. that ive seen.

    I have spent over $500 at volcanoecigs.com over the last 8 months and have been a loyal customer to them. Recently I tried their magma tank-o-mizers and they were great so I ordered a few of those. When I received them there was one defective one that I spoke to their customer support about as it is not covered under a warranty I wanted to make sure that they knew it was a defect in the tank-o-mizer and they agreed, sent me a replacement and I was on my way. My past order I ordered 4 of them as a gift for someone and to be sure the gift was fine I tried each and every one and two of the tank-o-mizers were defective, I called volcano they instructed me to clean it and call back if it was still an issue, which it was. So after letting them dry overnight and testing them once again they both had a terrible burnt taste to them when I called them back they told me that the liquid that I was using destroyed the tank-o-mizers and it was my fault, even though I have been using the same e-liquid that I have been using with my original tank-o-mizers that I had received(Which I did make clear to their customer service rep).

    BOTTOM LINE:
    volcanoecigs.com does NOT care about their customer base, and if you order from them you better pray that they don’t send you defective merchandise because they will not replace it!

    • so let me see if i understand this. You bought a product that they made clear has no warranty or return policy of any kind. One was defective and even though it wasnt covered under their policies they replaced it anyways…. then ordered more and they wouldn’t replace them anymore cause they determined it was you doing something incorrectly? Your story is kind of all over the place and doesnt really make sense. What was defective about the cartridges? Where they not heating? You mentioned adding your own fluid…. were they not prefilled? Was the fluid from Volcano or another place? Not trying to discredit your story merely looking for some clarification on it…

    My inferno volcano is absolutely awesome! I love everything about it! The flavors are great. The vapor amount is so much that I dont even realize its a electronic cigarette sometimes! Highly recommend this brand.

    Bought their Inferno Kit for my better-halves birthday. It’s not worth the price of hype. We’re constantly having to replace parts that they claim should last “a few months” when in actuality they last about 1-2 weeks. I bought the kit in their Honolulu shop on Kapahulu Ave. The tanks are always getting “flooded”, meaning that the juice goes right up to the tip when you’re using it and right into your mouth…not very tasty I have to say. Then there’s the Atomizers. We’re constantly having to replace them. “Try boiling them” is what they suggest…really, now that’s customer service. And speaking of customer service, when you walk into their “cafe”, the atmosphere is so smug. They try to give off the vibe that you’ve just walked into badass exclusive biker bar…um…yeah. Looking for an alternative now that won’t require so much maintenance.

    I’ve been using Volcano Inferno-T’s for a few months now. I am only impressed with this company! Seems a lot of people had issues with the batteries- I’m wondering if this is cleared up now, as I have the 650 passthrough and the 1000 and they are fantastic. Been using the 1000 for maybe 2 months, no issues, and the 650 for about a month, also no issues.

    I have had to contact CS about a wall charger not working, and a mistake in shipping me the wrong product- each time they were easy to work with via email and got my issues taken care of right away. They offer a 1 year limited warranty on their batteries so those having issues should be covered under that.

    Perhaps they are improving? All I know is for me, they are fantastic! I still get my juices from Cignot however, as they are much cheaper. They’re juices seem to work fine in my Inferno-T (even tho Volcano says you should only use Volcano juices).

    I really would tell the people who’ve had issues not to give up- the inferno-T’s are the best thing on the market that I’ve seen. :)

    Also shipping is fast- they use priority and have always gotten my orders to me in 3 business days- from HI and I’m in NY- can’t beat that!

    Volcano has changed their cartridges. The old ones were ok But the new ones are very bad. They come in unsealed box. They did have a sealed plastic pouch inside the box , but no more. They are more like refills, they have no seal on the capsule, just a plug that can be removed and put back without you knowing. In my last order some of the cartridges were empty, no capsule. The taste is bad. They don’t last half as long as the old ones. I have been buying volcano for 6 months but no more.

    • eek that is not good. I will have to reach out to them and see whats going on…. Anyone else having this issue or can confirm what tw is talking about? tw I would recommend smokestik or firebrand iif your going to make a switch… they are so far without any issues from anyone and have people raving over the quality.       • I can confirm that. I just ordered the volcano kit about a month ago and ordered pineapple, vanilla, milk chocolate, blue water punch, and kona coffee and all but two had plugs and didn’t even have a plastic pouch around them, just chillin in the box. However the pineapple and milk chocolate came with the plastic pouch and the foil seal over the capsules. I’m not going to give up on them yet, but am cautious.

  15. I have a bad battery, and so does someone I referred to Volcano. Been trying to communicate by email and phone. I haven’t rec’d one email back from volcano. I did get a voicemail from them, but that’s it. No resolution. All I want is for my product (that is less than a month old) to work. My referral’s battery lasted two weeks. If this is the way it’s going to be- I need to find a vendor that is at least reachable to deal with issues.

    Bummed out that I suggested volcano to so many smokers that are interested in trying a PV.

    • yes it appears that volcano has had some issues with their battery supplier. Many of their products appear to be defective. I hope they get on top of their game very soon cause they are quickly slipping down that slope…. Let me know if you hear back and if they resolve your issue. My contact for them I used to have no longer works there but I can try and help you out if noone contacts you.

      • In response to comments regarding Volcano and defective batteries, as well as a lack of customer service, I’ll say this:

        I’m only one Volcano customer and I’m in no way involved with volcano in any other manner. My experience with Volcano has only been positive. I’ve had very few defective batteries, or any other defective parts or accessories. Any problems I’ve had, were rectitifed by customer service promptly. I do suggest calling with any problems as opposed to e mailing. They’ve always called me back in a short period of time. Every other Volcano customer I’ve been in contact with has experienced the same service as I have. I give Volcano a Five Star rating in my book.

        I must say, I can’t help but wonder if some of these comments are coming from those with an interest in other E Cig companies. I only say this because the comments just seem to have that of tone to them.

I will be posting my experience but I want to say thanks for positive posting and not participating in negativity on this forum it allows to ecig users like me to read facts not gossip, or negativity. To “bob dole” (I can think of two other words that rhyme with that.) in reference to what you said something about Pete’s island. Grow up it’s 2011 and I am glad people like you and there ignorant prejudices are a dying breed so by the time my kid goes to school you”ll be pushing up daisies and we will be cross breeding on Pete’s island your Island, Staten Island, every island. As a matter fact stop smoking ecigs go back to analog so you”ll go faster. Write that in your report.
          Sorry Pete had to address him. But anyway thanks for helping save lives one ecig at a time.

    • I am a recent purchaser of a Volcano Magma starter set, that uses the refillable tanks rather than the cartridges, and have to give Volcano a mixed review at this point.

      On the positive side, I report:
      - Great vaping when it works, with good throat hit and flavor
      - Rapid Shipping- never had a product I ordered online ship so rapidly.
      - Extremely friendly, courteous, and attentive customer service, with genuine interest in rectifying the problem._
      -Attractive styling
      -Ease of use.

      On the negative side:
      - Lots of defects. The tank-o-mizer that came with my starter set was DOA, having no wick. Volcano replaced it promptly, paying for me to ship the defective one back to them. The one that they sent as a replacement was very good and still works,
      but the SECOND atomizer I ordered to have as a replacement when the first wore out (atomizers have a limited lifespan) fell apart after only a week of use. When I pulled the tank out, the wick came out with it!!

      Now, I realize that Volcano cannot provide a warranty for the atomizers (referred to as tank-o-mizers for the tank set) because they are too easily abused and damaged. However, it looks to me like these atomizers are just too darn fragile. You must have at least 2 by you at all times.

      Also, I have had to send the manual battery back for replacement. I called first to explain the problem- which is that the battery charges up but does NOT connect with the atomizer. My automatic battery is fine, so I know it’s the battery that has a problem, and that it is a defect and not something I’m doing incorrectly. I have not yet received my replacement battery even though I have received other merchandise I bought and paid for, like a replacement atomizer for the one that literally shredded after a week’s use.

      Also, the charger pack does not work as advertised. The carrying case is supposed to charge your battery, but mine does not.

      I realize that it’s almost impossible to find an e-cig that is totally defect-free, so I’m giving Volcano the benefit of many doubts here, because I’m so pleased with the way my Magma works- WHEN it works. I’m also pleased with their customer service, which offsets at least partly the product defects. However, I will not be shoveling too much more money into my set and will instead buy another starter set from Sidesho or 902, especially if the atomizer I just ordered is as bad as the one it’s replacing.

      • sorry to hear you had a few defectives with Volcano but yea as you mentioned any brand you go with will have defects its just the technology behind it is prone to have defects so theres not really anyway around it. Now with that said volcano has been getting more compliants of defects but that could also be attributed to the growing size and the fact that people are more likely to complain than to provide good comments but I can say that it seems volcano has been getting a bit more than even bigger companies out there currently get. I think this is due to the quality control center at their manufacture. I can tell you knowing who they use as their manufacture that their QC does in fact suck and wouldnt be surprised if they were considered to have the worst QC out of all. We are currently testing a new brand coming into the market and they sent us a TON of products as they want us to be the first site to have a full feature review and not one item was defective and the quality was AMAZING so come back and look for that review soon. We have been asked to keep the name silent for now because their website is still in production and should be done within a week or so but bottom line this e-cig is the best i ever used and will be my permanent ecig from here on out for sure.

        With all that said about the atomizer issue this is very common among all companies. Atomizers are very tricky and can last as little as a week all the way to 2 months I personally even had one last 3 months and I am a heavy vapor. Atomizers are just one of those things where you need to have a spare at all times because its nearly impossible to determine when it will cease to work. It depends on usage and the way you fill them as well. If you are dripping or constantly topping off your cart rather than taking full filled clean carts everytime this will significantly reduce the lifespan of an atomizer. Its much easier just to drip a few drops in the cart and pop it on and go then it is to pack a new cart as i do this myself but like i said this will cause it not to last as long for sure so keep that in mind. Atomizers will never really be fully supported under warranty or refunds because of this. The only ones that are generally replaced are ones that are DOA which means you have to screw it on to the atomizer and try it before you even add any fluid or they may think you were using it and it died from use. Theres really no way for them to be sure. So it doesnt help your situation with it dying in a week but for DOA atomizers its always best to put it on the battery and activate the battery to see it start heating before adding a cart of fluid on there. I know most companies will take these back in and replace them but I am not 100% certain about volcano but I would think they would after they see you didnt in fact use it when you ship it back.

        As far as the charger pack this was the QC issue i saw from them mostly as they seem to have alot of defects with these however just to be sure are you using them right? Their pack is a bit different to where you cant just pop it in and have it charge you have to like hold the side button down for a few seconds until the battery flashes to get it to start charging. Should say something about it in your instructions. Are you doing this?

          Since that time, I have more experience with my Volcano Magma kit to report, and the upshot is that while I will keep my Volcano set and not demand a refund for this defect-riddled set, I also won’t be buying much more stuff to go with it and have acquired another make of e-cig to make sure I’m not tempted to run around the corner and grab a pack of tobacco cigs just because my e-cig has conked out.

          I am STILL waiting for the replacement battery for the defective battery I mentioned then. I have had a replacement atomizer and a set of little tanks sent to me since then, which arrived 3 days after I ordered them. I contacted customer service about the battery, and was told it must have gotten lost in the mail and they will promptly mail a replacement, which has not arrived. It has only been three days so I’ll give it more time, but it’s passing strange to me that they can get new orders shipped so quickly yet take WEEKS for a replacement.

          In the meantime my other battery has begun to fail and the PCC pack has never worked correctly, even though I use it strictly according to the instructions. Not a big deal since I rely mostly on the USB charger, but since I paid for the thing, I should like for it to work. I called Volcano about these problems and they were extremely polite and friendly, as usual- their customer service people are lovely, really. But that doesn’t make up for a shoddy product. They sent me a mailing label to return the other battery and the PCC, and I doubt I’ll bother since the battery started working again, though very intermittently.

          I’m sorry to be so disappointed in my Volcano set, but I’m afraid that it simply is not a very good product. I am a heavy Vaper, but I expect a battery to hold up better than this, and even the atomizers should be more resilient. I’m extremely careful with my atomizers- never do a dry burn, make sure my tanks are in good condition, do not drop the thing, and am also careful to use all my electronics according to the instructions. But there are dozens of e-cig manufacturers out there, too many to tussle with a trouble-prone, unreliable device. A vaper should try at least a couple of different makes of e-cig to see which works the best for him/her.

  16. I started using the e-cig in November 2010. Within a week, I had referred 5 friends to Volcano. At about that time, the v battery went. I had purchased 3 other v batteries, now 2/7/11- all are broken, along with the wall charger. ALL of my friends have also had problems. Find another company, this product has many flaws. Customer service is useless.

      I use the Volcano Magma and Inferno products on a daily basis and consider myself a heavy user. I’ve had a few battery problems with both products but nothing I would consider out of the ordinary, as far as e cigs go. I’ve never used the V products. As I’ve stated before, I’m not associated with Volcano in any way other than just being a customer.

      Batteries are problematic for all of us vapors, but there are some easy solutions. Take a look at the Volcano Forum and you’ll find videos showing how to solve almost all of your battery problems. I’m able to use a simple quick fix whenever I have battery problems and that solves most of my problems. One fix involves using a paper clip and takes about 5 seconds. Another fix I use often is to blow on the LED end of the batter a couple times. It won’t feel like you can blow any air through, but do it anyway. So….when I have battery problems I usually try the blowing fix first. If that doesn’t work I use the paper clip trick.

      I’m very surprised to hear about your experience with Volcano Customer Service. I’ve been doing business with them for about eight months & I’ve never had any difficulties with them. The primary reason I do business with Volcano is their outstanding service.

      I learned I’ve had to educate myself about e cigs in order to have a positive vaping experience. There’s a whole world of online information available and I’ve found it necessary to learn all of it. There are lots of modifications, tech solutions and experimenting and all this info is available. It’s kind of become a hobby for me and that’s not what I intended when I started. It’s just kind of a necessary, and as a result of my research, I can tell you this: There are NO problem free ecigs available anywhere. Look all you want, but you won’t find it! The industry continues to progress and I bet we’ll eventually have something better, but it just doesn’t exist yet.

      Good Luck …..better yet, educate yourself and you won’t need any luck to have a positive vaping experience. I promise!

Funniest thing is Pete i picked up a ECig first time last week, and already has picked out the fake companies and will be reporting them, starting with false advertising for all these fake blogs, instead of moderating this let this be your notice that you will be getting some heat from your “island”! godaddy servers lol HAHA! Would not use those in high school.

        • Believe what you will! I’m only a Vapor and in no way associated with Volcano or any e cig company other than as a customer. I can only speak for myself and say: My experience with Volcano has been positive! I hope you you’re able to experience the same, if not from Volcano, then with another company. My main objective is only to not smoke, and vape instead. This way I’ll might live a little longer and have better health. Vaping is working for me and I haven’t smoked since the day I started vaping, about eight or nine months ago. Good Luck to all! Find at least two sources for your e cig products and learn as much as you can. E Cigs are not problem free!

          • kingk9 I can with 100% certainty as the owner of this website confirm without a doubt he is not affiliated with Volcano ecigs in any way shape or form. A long time ago Pete had issues with a few batteries he had gotten from a bad batch and was having difficulty getting in touch with customer service to get a replacement. I helped Pete out and reached out to the owner myself and told him about Pete and the issues he was having and the documentation he provided me that went unanswered and told him that if he did not take care of it I would be sure to rewrite my review and put a shining light on his customer service issues. Turned out to be a simple communication problem and they thought his issue was taken care of which caused a bunch of confusion and run around. The owner helped Pete out and provided him with a sincere apology and even made it up to him with a few extras forget what they were though. Since then Pete has been active on the volcano electronic cigarette comments and helps out in order to give back to me for helping him out and also volcano ecigs who showed that they have good character and stand behind their customers to ensure they are satisfied.

            Bottom line kingk you are very wrong regarding Pete and acting in such a manner that you are with no facts regarding the situation is not very polite. I track each and every ip address and ensure that my site is free of spam and false inflated reviews by the employees and I am damn good at it. I think you owe Pete an apology and next time I hope you will verify your fact before jumping to conclusions.

          • oh and one last thing (feels like I am spamming my own website) but check out the Eluma Ecigs Review on the worst ecigs tab. That whole thing started cause they had a problem with someone complaining about their electronic cigarette experience and responded to it with fake reviews of their own in a effort to increase their ranking and I traced the ip address back to them and deleted every single one of them. I then told them I didnt appreciate what they did then the stuff in that electronic cigarette review took place when I refused to remove the negative comment about them.

  17. I’m now using the Volcano Inferno batteries and their new Clearomizers. I usually buy my juice elsewhere and continually look for other good sources for my favorite flavors. I really like the Inferno and have been using it for about 10 or 12 weeks and no problems so far. I know there some other similar batteries out there and if they work for you, that’s GREAT! I’m always open to new ideas and products but don’t have the time to devote to stay on top of industry. The bottom line is this:
    I don’t smoke cigarettes anymore and my health is greatly improved. I’m now a Vaper! I want the best vaping experience possible at a reasonable cost and I must have a reliable supplier. It’s just that simple! I have no time fool around and I mostly count on volcano to offer the most up to date and reliable products the industry has to offer. They’re doing this job for me and that’s all I can ask! I’m not associated with Volcano in any way other than being a customer. Yes, i can probably find a slightly better or cheaper product out there somewhere, but who cares. Whatever others are using to Vape and not smoke, GREAT. That’s the goal and that’s the bottom line!

    I’ll be vaping away, maybe a little dripping, as I watch the NFL Playoffs all weekend. YEA! Go Saints!

  18. Well I finally received the replacement batteries, but they are going bad one by one. I’m sorry, Liked the product, but will no longer recommend this product. I have gone to the EGO and the Totally WICKED Stick, which has a much longer battery life, better favor and in all is cheaper.

    I’m vaping away and continue to use my Volcano Magma as my favorite e cig. They just came out with the Inferno and I hear it’s suppose to be awesome. It’s basically like the Magma, (I think) but with a much longer battery life. I also placed my first order for their refillable cartomizers but bought the juice somewhere else. Anyway, the Cartomizers have a built in Atty, but are refillable. They were built specifically for the Magma but I hear they work well with their Volcano and the new Inferno. I’ll write my review after I give all the new stuff a fair trial period but I expect nothing but good! I do suggest to anyone ordering for the first time to make sure they visit the Volcano.com Forum and do your research. It’s a little bit confusing if you’re a first time buyer of e cig products but the needed info is easily available .

    Regardless, Volcano continues to ship immediately and they almost never back order anything. If they do, you are made aware of it before placing your order! Some products are not even offered for sale, unless they’re in stock and ready to ship! I’ve found that not to be true with other companies. I recently placed an order with another newer company that also offers a very good product. I received a third of the order within about a week and they back ordered the rest. That was two weeks ago and I’m still waiting to hear they’ve even shipped yet! that will never happen with Volcano.

    Just one last note; I don’t work for Volcano nor do I personally know anyone with the company. I’ve only bought e cig products from one other company besides Volcano but I’m done looking anywhere else. The only product I might buy separately would be the juice. That’s only if I decide to seriously get into doing my own refills.

  23. I bought both models, liked them both, but most of the batteries would not take a charge after a couple to a few days. I have attempted to call and contact by email the company, with no response. I am very disappointed that they will not answer me and relpace my batteries. Thanks John……………….

    • Yeah Pete had the same problem. It turns out volcano ecigs got a bad shipment of 510 batteries from their manufacture. They have already gotten rid of them from the looks of it so it’s just a matter of getting the ones you have replaced which they WILL do. I am not sure what times you are trying to contact them and how long you are giving them to respond to emails and stuff so I can only assume we haven’t given them enough time. I know when you have a broken ecig or any product for that matter it feels like you have to get immediate new one but keep in mind that they are just people and trying to resolve it all as fast as possible. I know Pete got his replaced very fast so again I don’t know what kind of time you’re giving them to respond but sit tight and i promise you they will replace them for you without question. If you can’t contact someone within 5 business days then please use the contact us page and contact me personally and I will light a fire under their ass. Last thing they want is a bad review which I am willing to do when a company shifts its focus from the customer. Smoking Stick, LUCI, and Cigana are all products of bad reviews from me lol. Don’t worry well get you taken care of John. And again just give them a little time usually 72 business hours for emails or call during their normal business hours. Keep in mind of labor day weekend as well. Tends to back things up.

      As for new customers you guys are good to go, there was just a few people that got some bad batteries and it looks like one of the manufactures of that model batteries sent out a lot so it’s not just volcano ecigs that has the problem but many others as well that sell that model. If you’re at all afraid of getting bad stuff cause of these couple reviews about the batteries then I recommend heading over to Eluma Ecigs and SmokeStik USA Ecigs as they are our two top rated right now.

      Which email or phone were you contacting?
      Did you ever speak to anyone at all?
      Did you get a notification that your email was received by them?
      Have you checked your spam filter?
      If you have spoken to someone what did they say?

      I have spoek directly to 3 other people that were part of the Volcano electronic cigarette bad ecig battery batch and all got their replacements within days with no problems and a couple even got like a free gift for the inconvience.
      Volcano has a extremely great customer service well above most other companies because of their size. Send me more info so that I may help you if you are in fact due a replacement.

      • I must say that the service I receive from Volcano is outstanding. I did receive a couple of bad batteries and a pass thru with a sticky button but I called Volcano and they immediately shipped out replacements. I really do like my Volcano Magma products and will continue to do business with Volcano. I’ve placed around eight or nine orders now and everyone of them has been accurate and they’ve immediately shipped. They always send confirmation e mails and they’ve always returned my phone calls promptly.

      This entire issue took less than a couple hours to sort out and was a mear misinformation issue where they really could not get in touch with them even though they had tried so hard to. I was truly impressed with the customer service for this issue and how nice they are. Gotta love Hawaiians lol.       • The magma uses batteries from the joye 510 model which is the same exact model that I use myself. They say the batteries are supposed to last about 3 months before needing to switch them out because they stop holding a full charge. I bought 7 of them when I decided to use the 510 model as my product choice. I am still using the first two I started with ( put one on charger and use other ) and have been using them for almost a year.

    As far as the Blu ecig not being the same, yeah the designs are not the same this is true but the question is are the volcano ecigs made by the same manufacture as the Blu ecigs. At this point it time it does appear to be true that they are in fact produced by same company. However, as Shayne said that are not the same design so the parts are not interchangeable.

  26. FYI Volcano is not the same company as Blu. The base Volcano e-cig is the same basic part as the Blu, but both are a J88 model e-cig, which many companies sell. The Magma is a 510 model, again distributed by several companies. The Magma appears to have a custom atomizer that draws lower ohms and runs a bit cooler to avoid the scorched taste that the 510 is known to produce.

    I found Volcano through various forums reading stories about people upset with Blu product and customer service. I tried their cartridges first and found them to be superior, and started replacing all my Blu parts with Volcano parts as they failed. I just this week bought a Magma to see if it was any better, and in my opinion it’s vastly superior. Better vapor production, better taste and much better battery life. I just bought 10 more packs of cartridges and a bottle of e-liquid to see what all the fuss about dripping is about.

  28. I received my Magma 510 ecig in record-breaking time (2 days). Delivery is unsurpassed. Very, very impressive. It has a nice smooth draw on the ecig. It is very easy to draw or inhale on. It has a nice throat hit and I love the regular flavor tobacco as well as vanilla bean. Plenty of vapor smoke also. This is a fine 510 e-cig and I highly recommend it. I also have the regular Volcano and use that as well. It’s a fine small electronic cigarette too with plenty of flavor. You will be pleased with your purchase of the Magma 510 ecig. A great product.
